I want to convert a MS Publisher file to PDF because the recipient does not have Publisher on their computer.

Yes , but you will need a program to do so.

Adobe Acrobat is best, buts its spendy .....

However, you can find freeware and shareware programs to create PDF files (which is what you need).

download PDF creator file from PDFforge.org. Instal it on your system. And create a PDF file from anything - just like you would to print it.

Yes, just select adobe pdf as the printer.
