maybe he developed lactose intolerance. Take away the milk for a day or so and see what happens.

When my brother was 5-6 he also did the same thing. My mom took him to the doctor only discover that he had a serious nervous problem and everytime he had to go to school or was stressed out he would throw up. I would definitly take him to the Doctor and make sure that they don't just throw some diagnosis out to you without really checking him out.

Well first of all...milk isn't the best thing to be giving him. He could even be lactose intolerant and getting sick from the milk...
If he's throwing up, put him on a BLAND diet...dry toast, crackers, water, plain chicken, white rice....and so he doesn't get hydrated try jell-o or popsicles...avoid red or orange so you can tell if he starts to bleed internally.
He may just be sick...if not, have some tests done of him...chrohns, colitis, etc.
Hope he feels better...

Listen kiddo, education is not the best when the educated won't look at the symptoms. I get so mad when I hear of non thinking doctors. Go to a different doctor! Listen kiddo, I am educated, I have the paper on my walls to impress people. In Short, it is so much BS. Educated only learn what people teach us. Sometimes this is wrong. GO TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!
Boy I dislike the educated, we thing we have the answers.. we don't!

I would not give him fruit juices(acidic) and milk, this can upset his stomach more. Maybe apple juice and Bread. He could have a sinus infection and if the mucus runs down his throat at night it could make him throw up. Laying down on you back makes that mucus run down and could make you want to throw up. I would defiantly take him to see another doctor, if you cannot afford it take him to the Emergency Room they will have to treat your son-even if you have no money. Good Luck

Is he eatting dinner and a snack before bed? If not try that. Then his stomach won't be as empty. If that doesn't work, speak to a doctor because it is not healthy for a child to vomit that much. Maybe it's an allergy to something he is eatting.

Try giving him something lite in the morning before he even gets out of bed, like saltine crackers, like when your pregnant, the sudden moving in the morning may be throwing off his equilibrium. Have u had his ears checked? Might be off the wall, but worth a try.
