.....is so unfair with her to boys! The oldest one is treated like an angle even when he does something wrong, they tell him it's okay, but whan the younger one does something wrong they put him in his room, and when the oldest one picks on the younger one and the younger one starts crying they put the youngest one in his room!!! Why does my aunt do this, and is there any way to tell her how unfair she is??

Most parents do favor one child over another if they really admit it. You might want to talk to your aunt and tell her that you feel she is not treating the boys equally. But make sure you give specific examples and do not talk in general terms.

In most families, the oldest is the "prize" sibling. I'm not sure if it's a religious thing or what. My husband is the second and he never had anything his brother had. However, his brother had his college paid for, first car given to him, so on and so forth. Unfortunately your Aunt may never see what she is doing. Fortunately her second son has you to understand and be there for him now and in the years ahead.

BTW...The oldest boy on my husbands side is a complete A~hole in which the family doesn't even care to see him and my husband (The "Second" Child) is everyone's favorite. It means alot to learn to be humble and accept humility at a young age.

Unfortunately she obviously favours the older one. Do the boys have different fathers? If so, she may be taking her anger for the boy's father and transferring it to the son.

Try talking to her. However, be prepared for her to be extremely defensive and pissed. She will also probably tell you to mind your own business.

Good luck.

it is called favoritism....u cant do anything about it...just grin and bear it....u are a spectator.....outside of that life...if u have a voice(meaning a voice that will matter) to your aunt, go ahead and let it be known to her that from outsider's point of view.....she is committing a sin called favoritism...... but if u think she will not listen to you.....just watch some soap opera where u can yell at the characters when u get mad at them.....sorry

She obviously prefers one over the other. There must be a reason for her feeling this way. Find out and go from there.

You will find that in most families there always seems to be a favorite and a black sheep child. I would think about talking to her but be careful how you approach it.

If she is this mean you have to tell somebody or tell her and yell at her if you want to and if she says that she is going to tell you're mom or dad then say I don't care if tell them I am telling the truth!

Unless there is physical abuse, stay out of it. No one wants to listen to someone telling them how to raise their kids. Your mom or dads sister is your aunt? Have they seen this? Talk to them, and let them talk to their sister. Not you.
