Love of Truth (and before everyone gets their panties in a bunch is God not Truth).

“You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself”

Wow, complicated question. The Answer is sure to be more so, though.

Spirituality is the faith one has in a principle. The principle may be given a form- such as a God or Goddess or Enlightened person. Around that Principle idea will form and take root- giving birth to a 'cult' and as that idea spreads, as those principles are taken to heart by more and more people, and found to be true for more, and harmless in the majority, it evolves into religion.

It is how it has started with all of them- an idea, a principle, that worked well. Spiritulity is the want of tat principle, of that idea- the need to fill up a space in your life, to give it meaning, in order to feel more whole.

It is through SPirituatlity that we can reach Religion, and through Religion that we can find answers to many thing that science as of yet can't explain, and never may be able to.

You achieve the Path by following your faith- whether it be doctrined to you as a small child, or something that you have notcied to be a truth for you in your life. You rfaith is what paves your Path, and following it is how you get there.

Spirituality is that part of man that needs to know where/why we come from. Some just act on it more than others.

As for achieving that path - I can only answer as to how I achieved it:

For one thing, I looked around at how the world was made (not how man has made it) and then I looked at the closest thing that I had to find answers - the Bible - and then I looked at what it said and what religion says it says. It makes sense to me. I still keep looking, to see how I can improve.

Spirituality is just to find who is me, than I can know how to manage my self. After that, I will know what is the highest spirituality. Than go to the place of peace and love.
The path is only the correction of way of life by doing meditation, and change my life style to be more gentle, peace and love.
Your question is so good.

Spirituality is realizing you have a soul and that this body is only a cocoon for a transition period in your souls learning experience. The path is revealed when you clear your mind of clutter by prayer and meditation, and then listen for the truth to be explained to you as you can understand it by the Guiding Spirit. The test of the validity of truth is peace. Prayer and meditation are practiced by all religions and faiths, it is the one thing they have in common.

Spirituality for me means to get in touch with my inner self and than center myself in the environment in which I live. Spirituality is something that can enable you to feel in peace with yourself and the world. I often find spiritual meaning when I go up in the beautiful mountain ranges that surround Utah. I love the Unitah Mountains, up there where there are many smaller lakes, the forrests, the chipmauks. I feel in peace there in harmony with the earth. That for me is Spirituality.

First of all, you are body, mind, spirit and emotions. It is called the quadrinity. When the mind returns to God, it becomes a vessel for His power. When we were born we were programmed perfectly. Children have a natural tendency to focus on love. So what happened? We were taught to focus elsewhere. We were taught to think unnaturally, a bad philosophy and as adults we began to look at a world that contradicts who we really are. Spirituality is about the practice of love as a strength not a weakness.

I think spirituality is being able to get in-tune with your inner self and with Christ through the Holy Spirit. You can achieve this by spending time with God, worshipping, reading the Bible, etc. I feel the Holy Spirit (it is often a numbing of the chest, a powerful sensation) whenever I read the Bible and worship at church.

Spirituality is knowing, acknowledging, accepting, and working with that divine spark you feel inside. The spark that confrims we were mage in Gods image and we are loved by the Creator. We may do some wrong but if it is unintentional or we are misguided, we will always be forgiven and loved. That we can work the spirit as it has been given to us to work. NOt what man tells you but what your spirit/soul tells you!
