Okay, well a few minutes ago, a young man posted about being in love with a stripper. A lot of you advised him about her having diseases and other things. Well, this is not just true for strippers, people should be careful and protect themselves with anyone they are having an intimate relationship with. I've never been to a strip club, but I know they have the reputable ones where the clientele is upscale and respectable, and then they have the seedy ones. My question is, why, in the court of public opinion, are all strippers seen as people that sleep around or are trashy? As a matter of fact, couldn't there possibly be some VIRGINS that are strippers? For example in some of these upscale establishments? Just as the song says, "I'm In Love With A Stripper", couldn't there be another that says, "I'm In Love With A Virgin Stripper"? lol Okay, yeah this question is somewhat off the wall, but logical all the same! Why are all strippers judged with the same standards?

You bring on a valid point.
The world is full of stereotypes and unfortunately, being a stripper is one of them. There may very well be a few who are a strippers and virgin but we don't associate that with someone who takes off their clothes for a living. We find that promiscuous, a quality you may also find in a non-virgin. (some but not all!)

i have been too many strip clubs, know many strippers, and been offered jobs at more than a few clubs.... and some of these girls are just regular people that need to pay the bills just like anyone else... stripping offers instant money without much effort.
on the other hand some are prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics, and gold diggers... i'd say the ratio is about 50/50. i've also found the longer a girl is in the business the more likely she is to go from legitimate dancing to the other stuff. the temptation for drugs and more money by "servicing" clients becomes harder and harder to resist the longer they're working.
it isn't really fair the way strippers are judged by different standards, however, i cannot believe any woman would say to herself "gee, when i started taking off my clothes and dancing on a mirrored stage grinding around a brass pole for money i had no idea people would think bad things about me"
these women know the consequences of their job choice and have to take the good with the bad.

Victims of stereotyping. However, stereotyping exists because of the realities associated with the demographic.
I would be more compelled with a why a virgin would be a stripper. Stripping represents the lowest common denominator, the idea is really out there, but not impossible.
However, if had to bet on the probability of a stripper being a virgin, how much would you wager?

The logic is sound, but the probability is extremely low that a stripper would be a virgin.
Anyone who is comfortable enough to be naked in front of horny, ogling middle-aged men is likely to have lost her virginity as well as a lot of self-esteem.
Ironically, some strippers are lesbians who would never touch a man and strip because it makes them feel better to be ripping off perverts for their cash.

An upscale strip club just means expensive, at the bottom its all the same.
I dont think a girl who takes it all of and shows it for a living would still be a virgin.

Possible, yes. Probable, heck no. It's in their nature to have s*x. That's why they become strippers. But yeah, there could be a virgin stripper. Probably one in a billion.

well i agree with you on the fact that why should a stripper be considered a slut because of her profession I have meet a lot of strippers and had friends that strip that are really selective of the men they date and hang out with and a lot of them are looking for love not just a man that will sleep with them

stripping is up there with the prostitutes, trash and so on unfournately. Not on the same level, but up there close to it. though you are right. you can have a virgin stripper trying to make some extra money on the side. but its stereotyping. like if a man is black he is a gang-banger. you see?

trust me there are NO VIRGIN STRIPPERS i use to ride with a motorcycle club we went to strip clubs all over the country and never ran into one ever !!!!
