What could possibly be the reasons why a dealer sells a car at a price lower than that displayed on Kelly Blue Book (KBB)? Everything about the car (e.g., miles) are the same for the dealer and the KBB. The dealer gives the VIN number for vehicle history check but I've not looked at it yet. Assuming the car wasn't involved in a major accident, what could potentially be the reasons?

Get an autocheck not a carfax. Carfax is not as reliable. PM for a deal on a single autocheck.

The car could just be 90 days old in the dealers inventory and they need to get it off their floor plan.

Because they may have had it on the lot a while and want to unload it.
