Nosun how do you know suicidals don't frequent yahoo answers? My cousin killed herself 6 months ago and after the family went through her computer history, found out she had been talking to others about it on forums etc. for quite some time before she actually took her life. I only wish she had felt confortable enough to talk to US about it so that we may have been able to help. Sorry Gloomy i do not know most cases but it did seem like my cousin was sad for for a long time.

There is nothing normal about these thoughts . " NORMAL " people never think about doing this . Although I never understood who is normal . I can say beyond a doubt that it is a scream of desperation . A feeling of hopelessness & helpnessness . I actually tried a little over 5 yrs. ago . Now I am greatful that I failed. I felt exactly what I just described and worse . I took over 200 rx pills ie Sleeping pills, blood presses pills, antidepressants ect. After my friend found me EMG's brought me BACK. { I had succeded } I spent 5 days in a coma that they said even if I came out of , I would be a VEGETABLE . I guess it was not meant to be . When I came out of the coma I realized that I was not in charge there was something stronger than me all along that totally in charge, I am greatful to still be here and I think I was kept here to attempt to help others who are in as much pain as I was . I wish I had asked questions instead of shuting everyone out . This act you are contimplating is unforgivable . There are a lot of other alternitives . By the way before my attempt , I had a really hard time with the Idea of GOD . Not any more . I am going to pray for you . If you ignore everyone's pleas for your life and sanity . I will pray for your soul and you family . BLESS YOU and GOOD LUCK taking this problem to heart and getting help. It is out there for the asking !

Please listen, No one is normal. That is a myth. Your extended planning may be a result of, not really ready to die. Just a lack of desire to live. Depression effects us all so differently. Some can't sleep. Some sleep all day. Some can't eat while others can't get full. Depression can result from something really crappy that has happened to you. Or just a medical problem. People are born with heart problems, diabetes and all sorts of medical issues. Depression can be the same thing. People are just born that way. However there is help. See a Dr. Make sure he/she understands that you are in need of help NOW. If you don't have insurance go to an E.R. and tell them, "I'm going to kill myself and this is how I plan to do it." Don't wait and think you'll feel better tomorrow. If you go and get help it can save you so much suffering. There is no reason to be so unhappy with the medications available. It takes some effort on your part. You may not have that ability to do that for yourself right now, so go to a professional. A lot of people don't understand depression and may tell you, just get over it. No one would tell that to someone with heart problems. Because of lack of understanding so many suffer needlessly. Go see someone. Look on the internet. There is so much info.
Don't give up and Good luck

Even just ONE thought of suicide is not normal.
Whatever it is that makes you think life is so bad to turn to suicide, it's not. It may seem like that now but it will pass and you will be fine.
Trust me, I know life can have it's ups and downs (even if it seems like more downs). At one point, I thought my life had hit rock bottom and was going NO WHERE. But about a month later, everything was on the up side...and now I can't even comprehend how I could feel so bad before because I see all the great things that have happened to me since.
Please get some help...even if it's just telling these thoughts to a friend or neighbor or teacher or family member...whoever you trust.

Suicide is not the answer to your problems. Sure some people think about it from time to time. even i have thought about it. Instead of trying to plan your death maybe you should try planning your life. try writing down in a journal 5 things a day that are good or things that happened that day that was good or things you are thankful for. find the root of you problem and try to fix it instead of end it. YOU ARE IMPORTANT AND ARE SPECIAL. There is a reason your here. Try thinking about the good thing in your life and maybe think about talking to a professional. you may have been born to cure cancer or something great. do you really want the world to miss out on such a wonderful person. I will pray for you everyday

Are you suicidal or depressed? Suicidal people generally don't go around asking for someone's two cents off Yahoo Answers. Depressed people would. How about going to your doctor and seeing if he could prescribe you something to help you over this bump in life. We all need help once in a while. It doesn't mean you are crazy, just that you are stressed, depressed, and having a difficult time coping at the moment.

WITH WHAT I'VE ALREADY READ ABOUT YOU, ONCE AGAIN WE'RE BACK TO BEING SELFISH. IT'S SELFISH TO TAKE YOUR OWN LIFE WHEN THERE ARE STILL SMALL LIVES THERE DEPENDING ON YOU. DO YOU WANT TO TERRIFY YOUR CHILDREN FOREVER NUMBER ONE BY NOT BEING ABLE TO FIND MOMMY AND THE MENTAL BREAKDOWN THESE CHILDREN WILL SUFFER ALL DUE TO YOUR SELFISHNESS. IF YOU KILL YOURSELF, BIBLICALLY SAVED OR NOT ......... YOU WILL GO TO HELL. I SUGGEST YOU BRING GOD INTO YOUR AND YOUR FAMILIES LIFE NOW. LIFE IS TO BE LIVED WITH HONOR AND DIGNITY UNTIL GOD SAYS IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO. HE MAKES THAT DECISION NOT YOU. You don't know for certain you have less than a year only god does. So why don't you just enjoy the children and make the very best of a hard life. It is very possible especially if God is involved in every aspect of your life.

No it is not normal. And please seek medical attention. There's times I hate my life - since I have such bad luck!! But it is all a test. I believe I go through those things because God thinks I can handle it and I am a better person because of it. Life is a beautiful thing - you need to change your life for the better. Suicide is the stupid way out.
