I for one LOVED the original. I am so sick and tired of Hollywood remaking classics. Why doesn't anyone write an original idea anymore? I will not waste any money on a cheap remake. Especially having Nicholas Cage in it! And who's going to top Christopher Lee as Lord Summersisle?

I am sure the remake will not be anywhere near as good or as atmospheric as the origonal. Considering the film is playing around with a very old and "Royal" tradition of the British isles the old film did well. And, it WAS a really good way of getting rid of your wife/hubby/fool of a brother etc, just stuff em in the Wicker Man at the right time and away they went.

I loved the original. In fact we watched it about 3 months ago for "Movie Night".
I am sure I will drag myself to see the remake. It will give me something to pick apart. LOL!

I've never seen it. I didn't know it was a remake.
It looks a bit scary, but in a psychological way, not a gory way. I'm not sure if it'll be kind to Pagans.

I've never seen the original and that page keeps making my browser freeze :-(... my only concern is that it doesn't perpetuate negative stereotypes about witches/Wiccans/Pagans!
