Right wingers don't get it that these people are just entertainers.

When I was a kid, (the great) Peggy Lee came out with a super song. "Is That All There Is" in which she recounts events in her life that turned out to be less than exciting: disappointments, I guess. In the final line she gets to Heaven and repeats, "Is That All There IS."
I'm a little foggy on the details, but I remember an ENORMOUS hullabaloo over this song. Churches were going nuts denouncing it.
I mean, it was PEGGY LEE. It was a quiet, thoughtful song. SHEESH!
Sorry for the trip down Memory Lane, your question just made me recall this song, and how misguided people can be.
