Well, I was a Jehovah Witness (which are Christian too) when I was younger now I'm just a regular Christian. Jehovah Witness was weird. They twisted the word of the bible and we had to have their bible which was different from the real bible and had stuff removed. The rules were strict and I haven't read any of those things in the bible. I think we were part of it two years. Within those two years, one of the ladies (my mom did bible study with) was murdered by her husband who was a Jehovah Witness as well, one lady (we did bible study with) died suddenly of a illness, another man (my dad did bible study with) was doing his wife wrong, and all the kids were terrible...shall I continue. There was so much bad going on we had to get out. This one lady still stalks us after what 16 years, coming to the door like I remember her from all those years. It's been 16 years, stop knocking on the door, move on we are not coming back. Crazy I tell you.

Jehovah's witness have their own version of the Bible, and in it they claim that there is no hell, Jesus didn't die on a cross, only 144,000 people will go to the heaven where Jehovah is at, they denounce the trinity, most are pacifists, don't participate in democratic elections, etc. I'm sure a few Jehovah's witnesses will give you their "watchtower" link.
So here's mine: http://www.christianity.com/whoisjesus/1322949.aspx
It tells a little bit about the fundamentals of Christianity.

That we Christians recognize Jesus as the savior Mesiah, the son of God who died on the cross for our sins and who is of the same nature of the Father and is equal with the father and the holy spirit. We believe that anybody that believes in jesus and follows his commandments can earn heaven becasue he hs died for our sins already.
The jehova's whitnesses don't believe in jesus being one with the father but conceive him as a lesser God, created by God who was just an instrument to hav died on the stake (not the cross)
But the greatest difference is that they believe that only 144,000 will hearn heaven and the rest can't. That only this lite has gained heaven and the rest of the Jehovah's whitnesses can only expect the mercy of God for them to live on Earth forever. While of course, anybody who is not a J. W. is condemned.
They don't believe in the existence of the soul
their religion demands of them that they go out and try to place tracts and books which if they do a lot earns them the rank of "Trusting servant'" by the watchtower society, who are the only ones who can dictate what they can believe or not.

They are not a religion, in their own words, they despise religion, insteasd they are a cult.

A, and they deny the saving power of baptism as well, among many other things.

Ah, and they don't call themselves Christians, but call Chistianity Christendom and call it a devil's work, Believe ir or not.

This so-called "question" seems primarily intended to demean and insult Jehovah's Witnesses.

Anti-Witnesses and Trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.

The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".

In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

I though Jehovah's Witnesses were Christians, I don't beleive in many points of their doctrine, but don't they accept Christ as their savior and redeemer? Isn't that what makes a person Christian?

Witnesses don't celebrate any holidays and don't donate or accept blood..and like all religions both think they are the one true religion in fact I believe the Jehovah witness refer to there religion as "The Truth"

But if I follow the Witness way I'm already going to hell so why bother "Donated Blood and will do it again"

very good answer da chet, they are the same...........or suppose to be, but others are calling themselves "Christians", and would be ashamed to be known as a witness.........If you are ashamed of jehovah, he will be ashamed of you.........
ALSO, witnesses do NOT think Jesus is below Jehovah, He is his SON, Separate, they are not as one
And for the 144,000, They are not the ONLY ones going to heaven, there will be others, but the 144,000 will be our guides, kind of like Elders......
And another thing, It isn't that you can't celebrate holidays...........Its just that in the bible it says that we are only suppose to remember and celebrate his ressurection, known to many as easter, The other holidays are just made up, like Christmas for example, Jesus was NOT BORN IN DECEMBER

Not really. And Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true Christians around. You can check by reading the Bible. They are the only ones who follow it.
