There are alot of fakes out there..... if these are family earned medals, the paperwork would be helpful to increase the value and confirm it's genuine nature.
I have a 39-45 Star, 39-45 War Medal and an Air Crew Europe Star. The last one is valued at about $300 Cdn. The others are valued at about $20 to $30. I am "NOT" an expert, but there are websites out there that can help you tell a fake from the real McCoy.
Just type in the names of the medals on the search bar and there you are.
Cheers!

Of course Ebay is probably the best bet, but with any potentially valuable item, research it first. Could be an odd variation that has some extra value...
Miniatures are usually of extra value, any medal with ribbon clasps are interesting. Original issue boxes or envelopes good, too.
Knowing about the items past, its owner, etc is interesting and can add value. Getting a truck full of stuff from the same guy is a huge plus.
Sure, there are fakes to worry about. Also, the governments usually kept making them. In the US, at least when I was a kid, you could write the US government for your dads medals and get them. They'd be relatively new made, though.

Value....as in if you sold them....in monetary terms? Or value as in.... they represent my father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, sister, mother, friend who showed bravery, courage and resilience to provide me with the freedom to be here ( half a century later) on yahoo answers answering this question? If the latter, then they are priceless!!!!!

Not much. These are common medals just for service not for acts of bravery.

Very interesting, those are hard to come by.
If they are in good condition, you should get $500 to $900 each.
It also depends who you sell it to.

PRICELESS TO THE BRAVE SOULS WHOSE COURAGE EARNED THEM. They should be handed down to their families to remind them that life wasn't always as easy and as carefree as it is today. we ALL need to remember that people had to suffer for us to have what we have today. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.
DON'T WORRY ABOUT PRICE. MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING.
WHY NOT DONATE THEM TO A LOCAL SCHOOL SO THAT THEY CAN BE TALKED ABOUT IN HISTORY LESSONS, SO THAT YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY CAN SHARE IN KNOWING WHAT PEOPLE HAD TO DO TO EARN THEM.
THINK ABOUT IT.
GOODNIGHT.
