put them in their car seats? I mean - mine always use their car seats when we go driving here & there (in our own van)...BUT what about when I take the CAB? What are some of the things fellow parents do?

In Oregon, seat belts and child seats are not required in cabs. Obviously, to be safe, you would want to have a car seat for them to sit in, but it's just not practical. And cabbies (however crazy their driving might seem) are actually VERY good drivers, especially when there is an unsafe child in the car.

You don't use a car seat. Unless you want to carry it around with you all day.
