What do Christians have against all Muslims when it is only a minority (100 out of 1billion? You do the math.) that are extremist and violent?
Have pride in your religion by all means, but respect another's beliefs. And realize that not all Muslims think like that minority. Or else how would you explain the American Muslim soldiers fighting overseas right now?

Muslims historically have lived in harmony with Jews and Christians. They considered Jews and Christians as "brothers of the book" or "childern of Abraham" just like them. They had a big problem with the 'kafir' which took form as wars with hindus.
Islam has five pillars - Shahadah (The Testimony of Faith), Salat (Ritual Prayer), Zakat (Charity), Sawm (Fasting), and Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca).
Some Muslims, maily belonging to the community of the Khawarij, hold that there is a sixth pillar, JIHAD. Modern interpurretation of this include HOLY WAR.
As such, these Muslims believe that in order to be a good Muslim you must fight all non-Muslims.

ok..well i'm a Muslim and i don't have anything against Christians, jews, atheists....or any person of another religion..at all. About 90% of my best and closest friends are of a different religion than me and most are christians. nowadays people are ignorant....they refuse to ask questions and wait for the correct answers to come along. the same way that most americans dont like Muslims some Muslims view americans in wrong ways because of all the wars that we impose on the middle east....americans here are being ignorant because all they know about Muslim people and Islam is wut they hear in the media about terrorist threats and attacks. poeple dont take the time to learn about our religion and really understand what its all about...because its definitely not about hurting other ppl....but you have to remember that there are extremists in every religion. and nobody knows the truth now because all we hear is lies

Ugh...this is a really dumb and ignorant question.
I'm Islamic and I have NOTHING against christians. I hang out with christians all the time and they have nothing against me and my beliefs.
It's not the religions at war, it's the ignorant people. You can't judge a whole religion by a few people.
Most American people are just being ignorant and stupid. They don't care to take the time to learn. They just judge by whatever they see on their ever so trustworthy T.V.

Christians are really stupid. God tells them in his very first and most important commandment "Thou shalt have no other Gods before me". So what do these hideous freaks do? They worship Jesus. What a bunch of child molesting "freak shows" they are. Christians would worship a dog pile if some book told them to do it. Do you really believe that Hitler and Charles Manson (Christians) were forgiven? What does that say about the Christian faith? What a freak show.

Islam is a rival faith to Christianity. Islam arose after Christianity and the founder Mohammed waged wars of atrocities against Christians and Jews. Centuries later, persons claiming to be Christian reciprocated the attacks on Islam.
Antisemitism has existed since antiquities milennia before Islam, but Islam adopted the mind set and justifies murder of innocents of differing faiths based on interpretations of the Kuran teachings.
The "holy land" of Israel was taken by force by Islam. Jews and Christians have long fought to drive Islam back to arabia where it originated.
Over the centuries of various wars, much hatred has grown up, which proves the proponents of all sides are ignoring the peaceful tenets of their faiths.
History aside, I believe that Islam is influenced by an existent and vile creature, a demon now called Allah, who is in every way a cheap counterfeit and hater of the true God.

Christians are on the right track, Muslims however, have a false idol they worship created by Muhammed who didn't know a lot about the real God.

I don't know what the issue is but I think it stinks. I live in a city that is becoming overrun with Muslims not that I have an issue with any race. They wear their birkas and robes and fast on certain Fridays and my kids school welcomes this with open arms. When it comes to Christmas it cannot even be said because it offends the Muslim community. Bull @#$%! I am very angry all of the traditions when I was a kid have been taken away because of not just Muslims but government. I ran accross a question asking what it means to me to be American. I really don't know anymore.:(
