What are they? I was told I need them. How can I obtain them?

endorphins are naturally produced substances similar morphine and serotonin is an substance which produces inflammation among other things.I don't think u need them.they are produced naturally by the body in response to exercise, injury and stress among other situations

Endorphins and serotonin are bio-chemicals which are produced in the brain of most people, Endorphins are something like a natural morphine which relieve pain in our body. These things also help us feel happier and more content, Sometime certain people get a chemical imbalance which is apparently has happened to you. Doctors can prescribe them for you if they agree you need them.

They're hormones that the body produces. Serotnin regulates mood and Endorphins give you a sense of well-being and happiness. If you're depressed you probably lack these hormones. You can't get them from food or anything.. but it you have a bad diet it will deffinetely affect you. The only other way is drugs like Prozac.

Eat healthy foods (your body makes them) and exercise. They make you feel good. So do exercises that make you feel good like yoga, bodybuilding and martial arts. At that bottom of this site is a book teaching how to do the best yoga for body.

well, you actually CAN get medications that will spur the production of endorphins and serotonin.

however, exercise will cause the body to produce them, as well as adrenalin (depending on the form of excercise. - jogging doesn't produce anywhere near as much as say.. kickboxing)
