I agree he is too little for booster seat. Keep him in a good car seat for awhile longer.

A 1 yr old is still too young for a booster seat...you need a convertible seat that will turn into a booster when they are about 5. The one with the 5 pint harness are good...like an Eddie Bauer

You should get a car seat with a 5 point harness that faces the front. Your child is too small for a regular booster seat.

Too Little for a booster seat, needs to be in a car seat. A booster seat is for a child who is much much older. My son will be 3 and he is still in a car seat.

We bought two of these from from Toys R Us:
Eddie Bauer Surveyor Booster - Ballard $79.99
Much cheaper than a convertible seat.

I use a travel type of booster. It has straps to attach to a chair and very sturdy. Then you can fold it up and take it with you when you go to visit family or on vacation. It's easy to clean too. It's by First Years. I bought it at Target.

one year olds don't need booster seats, they are way to little, look into buy ing a toddler carseat......... they hold up to 60 pounds....... a booster seat is for children about 4 years and up or over 65 pounds. good luck on your seach for one

We have this one for my Daughter who is about 28 pounds and nearly 2: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_8/602-8274736-0959025?%5Fencoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B0002EO5BE
It is very supportive -- the 5 point harness is great, and she will be able to use it until she's about 5.
