The Chevy S-10 and GMC Sonoma are essentially identical, much as the Ford Ranger is identical to the Mazda B-series.

I prefer the Ford/Mazda mostly because it is a little smaller and lighter, and gets a bit better gas mileage. But there's nothing wrong with the S-10... it's a fine smaller truck.

The S-10 is a really rugged truck. The GMC sonoma is pretty much the same thing as the S-10. The Ranger is nothing special. Go with the Chevy.

the ford ranger will probly be the cheapest , the sonoma is auto 4x4 which requires all tires off the ground to tow , the s-10 is a good lil pickup , but most gmc products work good , my friend bought a sonoma and loves it

I would say neither. Im not a big fan of american cars, Toyotas have worked for me always. Alot of members of my family own the Toyota Tacoma, i would recomend it. It is nice and a great vehicle!
