My bf supose to come and visit me next week. He requested his vacations August first...
then they told him (last Friday) they have to check if someone need vacations before him, so they did that, and someone wants his vacations tho... so he can't come down cause of it, and well he's trying to change schedules to see if he can get vacations.
What do you think?
for the record, he works at the Airport.

He probably doesn't have much senority so he has to wait to take his vacation. I would take his word for that unless he has given you reason to doubt him.

If he's part of a union, the other person requesting the vacation probably has seniority over him, and therefore takes precedence.
He's probably on the up-and-up.

I believe he is telling the truth,and you can't question everything he says,or you're relationship will be doomed. Unless he gives you a legitimate reason for not trusting him,you need to start taking his word for it.
