if yes, does the coast guard have travel package (ie discount flights etc.) for the trip? My son is going in and we would love to be there when he graduates but that will be in New Jersey and we live in Louisiana WAY TOO FAR TO DRIVE.

Try to find A flight on Southwest or US Air to Philadelphia. Philadelphia is only a rental car drive of 2 hrs to Cape May. Both airlines have hubs here & are cheap rate wise. All Family is welcomed.

The military love to see families of recruits at graduation. It is good PR for them. You have to pay your own way. The military does not pay for you to see your son/daughter graduate.

yes you can attend. and no as far as i know they dont have family travel packs. but i beileve they have some sort of assistance in helping find a hotel near cape may
