It appears as if this site is not intended for motivation. It is the class agenda online. Hopefully the motivation is in the classroom, and home.

Bound's Hubby here:
Actually, it would seem that this teacher is already working with motivated students. As a teacher, what I see here is that the teacher is identifying the content and assignments covered in class (for those who are absent) and identifying the homework assignments for the near future.
This also allows parents who are actively involved in their children's education to see what the teacher is doing.
In this same vein, the district I teach in is going to an on-line gradebook, where parents can access the grades of their children (updated on a weekly basis). Based on the on-line gradebook, I anticipate a new surprise for this year will be to post our lesson plans, teaching materials, and homework on-line.
As a footnote, most of my students have internet access, and the majority of the students like being able to access their assignments at home off the net. As a personal aside, I have noticed that my students that can access their lessons on-line tend to be stronger, academically.

WHY are you so obsessed with this?
If you have a problem with your child's teacher or a question about things in the classroom, you need to schedule a meeting with the teacher.
Is the teacher that made the following website doing a good job motivating her students? Why or why not?

If that is the extent of her teaching I would say no. But if she has added this website to assist her students in getting the proper homework/etc information...I think it is a good idea. I would have liked to have a website to check to see if I had everything done when I was in school. As far as motivation....maybe there was something on the site I didn't see.

I think she did an alright job motivating her students....I remember in high school I did much more then that but depending on how long her class is it seems like enough. I agree that this isn't so much to motivate students as it is posting the lesson plan online. I'm not too sure what else you are asking?

We don't know the teacher so we would not know how or if she motivates her students. The website looks like what assignment is expected to be done during a specific time period. It's a good reference for students to double check.

I believe maximum folk of the previous posters ... tell the truth so a ways as available. In maximum scholar preparation circumstances the well-known and the scholar instructor meet with the college manager to talk topics. also the instructor keeps a log of all activities the scholar instructor engaged in in the course of the approach his/her time contained in the college room. once you've been precise on your determinations of skill in both those nation-states then there could not be a situation documenting the truth of the "scholar instructor". even with the undeniable fact that, once you've been variety and in no way wanting to ruffle feathers there's a situation. the most suitable diagnosis is this, when you're uncomfortable in writing a letter then do not write the letter. good success ...

A teacher is there to teach, if you think there is a lack of motivation, then you should make that your responsibility.
