Actual evidence points towards jesus not dying on the cross. Its suggested that he ended up in Kashmir in India, where he lived a long and pieus life. His tomb is there and has been since at least 115 ad.
Modern christianity is so secular and confused and it is so because the book you refer to as the truth has next to none in. There is very little , if any, irefutable christian evidence, yet the rest of the world seems to have a lot of uncensored , historical evidence for the man called jesus.
The bible has more to do with 2000 year old politics than it does the true account of jesus and it was not even written at the time of jesus.

When will the church(es) finally come clean and tell you all it was a con to make you submissive enough to rule and to rule through fear too.
How can you believe such obvious controlling dogma?

Well, that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. But it doesn't have to change mine or anyone else's. See, that's the beauty of religious freedom--you're allowed to believe or disbelieve as you will.
Nothing you have said will change my mind one particle. So you can rest easy; you didn't manage to force your beliefs on me.

Show the evidence! This story has been on the go for centuries and has no foundation or proof any any kind to support it. The apsotle, Thomas, is also supposed to have founded the church in India, but again there is no supporting evidence.

Until a few years ago there was no extra-biblical evidence to support the existence of King David of Israel, but the remanat of a stele was discovered which spoke of the "House of David," thus there is solid supportive evidence.

Any book written today records the politcs of the time, so too does the Bible, but it also recorded some of the life of Jesus, as did the works of Josephus, the official Roman historian at the time of Jesus, as do other Jewish records of the time (i.e. the Mishnah).

There is much non-religious dogma that you will believe, but because a religious term or believe is involved it has to be dismissed as dogma. Every day the TV and newspapers promote secular dogma which goes unquestioned, e.g. global warming. There is pure scientific evidence to support the fact that the earth is cooling and not heating up. Thus, if the earth is cooling then the weather changes are explained and more understandable. The frech did some amazing research in the 1960's which gave an excellent model of what we now see happening and it is based on the earth cooling and not getting hotter. The ozone layer naturally thins every winter and thickens every spring-summer. Ozone is just an oxygen molecule with a single additional electron which is simple to produce and distribute and almost without cost - so why all the fuss. Global warming is more to do with 'conning' the world into paying extra taxation for something that does not exist. Global warming is now accepted dogma by most people not in the know.

The breaking up of the ice fields and glaciers are natural events which have been noted for centuries. If the poles were to melt the sea level would actually recede world-wide. Try filling a jug with water and put into freezer overnight. In the morning note if the ice has remained at the original level or has risen above it. Frozen water expands and occupies more space, but less when melted - basic science.

Yes, I agree in part that modern Christianity is secular and confused because many preachers/ministers/pastors are unsaved and don't believe in most of what they are talking about. I know of a top man in a denomination who does not believe in the virgin birth or the resurrection. Why did he become a minister? At least we should have ministers who believe in what they represent, even if some folk, and they (and you) have this right, think they are wrong to hold such beliefs.

I would say if you read the right books you would see historical evidence for the existence of Jesus, and even today's jewish theologians no longer deny he existed. Try to get 'Jesus the Jew' by Geza Vermes - not theological, a Jewish viewpoint, worth reading.

Very interesting. I don't think it would be in the best interest of the church to update its teachings so drastically all at once. Even an issue like birth control in Africa to prevent the needless deaths of countless people hasn't been dealt with, but there are whispers of change, maybe the Pope will one day pick up and decide to change that, but it'll be a huge deal. Imagine what it would do to the religion if they admitted they weren't sure about so many things at once. I don't think that they're posing as big a threat as they did historically before today and they do keep the mindless in check by telling them if they're not good they'll go to hell. Better that than looting and pillaging I say.

I really don't know where you got your information, but either you are as gullible as you sound, or you are seeking the truth. That wasn't an insult by the way. I feel obliged to answer your question the only way I know how to, and that Is truthfully. Because I feel you are really in need of an answer to what your life is all about.

Many will come and tell you different stories of Christ. That's why you should read the Bible, prayerfully, asking God to explain the things you don't understand. It's only when you receive Jesus into your life as your personal Saviour and give your life to Him, that God will reveal everything to you. His Holy Spirit will guide you to know the truth.

Modern Christianity is honestly no different to the original days of Jesus, it is in fact moreso today, because what is happening in the world now, was prophesied by Christ and Gods Prophets. Remember, many will come to you as a sheep in wolves clothing, and satan will appear as an angel of light. The devil is the great deceiver. He will convince you all the wrong things in life are actually right. You have to cover yourself with the blood of Christ, to protect you from being led astray, and put on the armour of God as explained in Ephesians chapter 6.

Don't worry about what you've read or heard, they are merely theories to throw you of track. What matters is you must have Jesus Christ in your life to know all things, and the difference about what is truth and what is a lie. God won't llet you down......this I can promise you.

One point, there is evidence that Jesus was not even born at this time?, but i agree with everything else, and I expect you know that Jesus is not the real name, from Hebrew it's Yeshua, and his bother James, and that all though there is no proof that Jesus is the son of God, there is evidence that he did as stated in the bible, as far as going around preaching, and healing, so although I think of the bible as a story book, you need to realise that there is a lot of truth that CAN be proved, however there is also evidence that man has badly translated it, and as man wrote it, it had to be done to make a profit, and of course to control the people of the world, I believe we need to have faith in ourselves, and God, and not books, or religion..

It is possible to disagree with fundamental concepts of a particular religion and to discuss your ideas on the matter in a respectful, conversational manner, without attacking the entire system of beliefs or demoralizing the followers of the religion for believing it.

You may find, if you use a little more tact and a lot less animosity, that you can have an interesting, enlightening discussion on even the most controversial topics.

These are mere suggestions not facts. The place of Jesus' death on the cross is still preserved in Isreal. It has become a pilgrim's must visit while on pilgrimage to Isreal.

The satan uses every device to create the impression that what the records show in the Bible are ficticious so that he can lord it over the inhabitants of the earth.

You need to meet Jesus to know that he exists. He transforms lives and changes situations. Millions can testify to this.

Funny they are finding evidence every day that everything in the bible is accurate to the letter. The scrolls they find have the exact wording on it that we have today, the places mentioned are there or have been there in the past and they have found the places that are mentioned. With all the evidence pointing to it being so correct, I wonder where you are getting your information. Nothing controlling in anything I have read in the bible. Best check it out before you begin to put it down.

This guy hasn't bothered to do any studying on the subject. He found one article, which he didn't even cite, and went off. If he'd done any research on how much historical truth is in the Bible, he'd feel like a fool.

The church will never reveal the con, because most sensible humans already know it is a story. Jesus didnt actually become the son of God until about 105 AD when Emperor Constantine -a Pagan, decided that the christian belief was good for Rome. They decided to make him immortal to put him above man and give us someone to worship next top God
