Go to your local bank, or to a few...they usually have packs that help you to write a business plan.

There is some GREAT software available under $100 for doing just that, with fill in the blank forms etc. Check it out, it is the best. It shows how to do everything for a presentation to a banker or investors too.

Buy PR WEEK - they have a feature every week that outlines a companies marketing plan, which in my humble opinion is just the same thing. Some would disagree - but i passed.heheheh

There is a great site business link for london. Gives lots of great tips and a structure for it. If you are in the UK, check out the small business agencies - they give some clear advice.
