Speaking as a 16-year military man myself and a veteran of two "operations," good on your brother for serving his country, regardless of whatever mistakes he may have made before.
I offer this prayer on behalf of your brother and all those in uniform serving abroad "Dear God, our Father in Heaven, we are so thankful for all the blessings you bestow upon us, especially the blessing of freedom. We are most grateful for the men and women who defend this great nation, and we ask that you watch over them and protect them in all they do. We ask a special prayer for Jesse -- we ask that you be with him, help him to successfully complete basic training, and watch over him when he goes overseas to further the cause of freedom abroad. Keep Jesse and all our soldiers who are away from their families in the palm of Your hand. We ask these things in the name of Your Son and Our Savior Jesus Christ, Amen."

,Just keep telling him that your proud of him. It doesn't mater what he's done in the past but what he does in his future. I know from my own past , that the support of family is the best. Seems like I was like Jesse and when I went into the navy, I grew up and moved onto bigger and better things. Having a younger brother that cares so much is a good start for Jesse. I will be happy to pray for Jesse, but let's not forget the other ones that are their already. My brother, his son. my cousin. my brother-in-law and the 230,000 other men and woman helping to bring them home . God bless (Little Brother)

Sarah....your brother can't have done very much bad or the military wouldn't have let him in. He's got to be an OK guy for his little Sis to think enough about him to ask us to say a prayer. Your thoughts and prayers are joined by ALL of ours. He will make it through boot camp!
God Bless your Brother
God Bless the USA and all our brothers and sisters serving.

God Bless your brother for the sacrifice he is making for this country You tell him that all of us are praying for his safe return, and you tell him how proud of him we all are. We will all pray for his safety,...if it were not for men and women like your brother...we would already have been taken over by the enemy...Your brother is very brave and you should be sooo proud of him...You write to him and make sure your friends and family writes to him also...start getting his Christmas presents ready to send...and cookies that you bake. We are praying for all of our military men and women to come home safely...you are a good sister...God Bless and keep you both

Regardless of how you feel about the war and why we are there, the men and women who volunteer to serve deserve our respect, our support, and our prayers. Consider you and your brother prayed for!

What a caring sister -- there are many of us out here who have family members serving, going to serve, and have Served (including us Retirees from the Military), and we appreciate the words of thanks and the prayers for those who are going through their initial training.
