Whoa, calm down okay, it's really doesn't matter what other people call us, because that doesn't really change who we are.
But the simple answer as far as I can tell is that people have different definitions for who is or isn't a Christian. Those that define a Christian as someone who believes Christ is the Son of God, their savior and redeemer, have no problem calling us Christians.
It's just some people have very technical detailed definitions which are extremely specific to their own doctrine, really, they end up excluding a lot of people other than their own denomination, so we shouldn't feel so picked on.
best wishes

Mormons are not Christians because they do not accept the word of God, that Christ is True God and True Man and the fact that the Church is founded on folk tales. Read the real Bible, learn and talk to those who dont accept your faith as true Christianity, and then you will see that your not truly Christian. The holy Trinity is not to be divided for the sake of anything. The Bible is not to be re written for personal gains and pleasures. So in the answer to your question, your'e not Christian, doesn't mean that some day, when Judgement comes you aren't saved, because being saved comes from deeds and belief, and if you beleive in Christ, your savior, Son of God the Father, and True God and True Man, then you too will be saved. God keep you and bless you always, continue to search and you too will find the truth.

I do believe that Mormons are Christians because I was raised Mormon. I don't, however ,believe that Mormons are the only true christians. I find that to be very close minded. I have worshipped in many different christian churches & find that I can talk to God & worship Him equally in any of them. I actually am attending a christian non-denominational church now & find the people to be very open minded & welcoming & real. You sound very angry & I hate to say this but that is the quickest way to turn people off to God & your church...saying that yours is the only right way.I do believe in the Mormon doctrine as being the truth however we are not the only christians worshipping.

Wow. I'm LDS too, but geeeez buddy, ur a little outta control. If you are gonna preach the gospel, don't do it on here or just be a little nicer. That's no way to get people to like our church at all. Did you ever go on a mission because i'de be scared of you as a missionary. Im sorry but it's true. I have never even seen or heard any LDS member talk like that to non-members. You are simply scaring people away from the true church, not letting them see the goodness of it.

I dont not think you are Christian, but I think a lot of people probably get that idea because you added your own book that nobody else has & have prophets that nobody else has in the Christian religion, so it's hard for them to understand & compare.
I dont think you can say you are the only true religion, since all religions really believe that they are the "only right ones"
Only God will know & judge.....

R U ready to start a journey to ultimate truth, or is your mind already made up? Christianity teaches that Jesus is, was, and has always been a part of the Godhead; not that He was a prophet who became God, and not that His followers could also become gods. Such teaching is fundamentally contrary to the essence of basic Christianity. Such teaching is philosophically related to and reminiscent of the angel mentioned in scripture who once said, "I will ascend and be like the most high God."
Biblical Christianity teaches that Christ's blood on the cross is sufficient to atone for the sins of any person. Mormonism teaches that certain sins are beyond the atonement of Christ, and require the blood of the transgressor. Check this out from Mormon theology: "But under certain circumstances there are some serious sins for which the cleansing of Christ does not operate, and the law of God is that men must then have their own blood shed to atone for their sins. Murder, for instance, is one of these sins; hence we find the Lord commanding capital punishment."... "President Joseph Fielding Smith has written: 'Man may commit certain grievous sins -- according to his light and knowledge -- that will place him beyond the reach of the atoning blood of Christ. If then he would be saved, he must make sacrifice of his Own life to atone -- so far as in his power lies -- for that sin, for the blood of Christ alone under certain circumstances will not avail. . . .' "Joseph Smith taught that there were certain sins so grievous that man may commit, that they will place the transgressors beyond the power of the atonement of Christ. If these offenses are committed, then the blood of Christ will not cleanse them from their sins even though they repent. Therefore their only hope is to have their own blood shed to atone, as far as possible, in their behalf"' [Doctrines of Salvation, vol. 1, pp. 133-138]" (Mormon Doctrine, Bruce McConkie, pages 92-93)
Finally, Biblical Christianity could never in a gazillion years support the Mormon teaching that a woman goes to her own planet in "heaven" and is eternally pregnant to populate that planet. I would encourage you to check out books written by former Mormons who tell the truth. I am not a former Mormon, but I used to be a little whacked in my Christianity.

1) Mormons do not put faith and trust in the salvation of sins through the death and ressuriction of Jesus Christ.
2) Mormons do not accept the fact that there is a hell and all unbelievers will go there if they do not repent and trust in Christ
3) Mormons think that the Holy Bible is not the only athority of God's word you added the book of Mormon(which you believe is greater than the Holy Bible, the orginal text.)
4) We true Christians are assured that we are saved and going to heaven without working for it, on the other hand Mormons believe that only 144,000 people are going to be in heaven(are one of those 144,000?).

Any religion that corrupts the tenets of the faith as handed down by the author is a cult: Mormonism raises a created thing to become a deity, which is not biblical. Therefore claiming to be Christian, and denying the Bible as the sole authoritative document of the faith causes you to be a cult. So each person that follows your faith enough gets to eventually...if he is male and not a *****...get to be a star and have many celestial wives and star babies, right? These are not tenets of the Christian faith.
Christ rather than dying, resurrecting and ascending is portrayed as not really dying, pretend resurrecting and then wandering the earth with his wife and children until he arrives in the americas and starts a new religion called Mormonish 2000 years ago, but remains undocumented until freemason Joseph Smith pops up and translates some unverifiable golden plates out in the forest of North America, and dies bearing satanic amulets and calling out freemason secret codes to try to save himself.
So you have any more questions?

I'm LDS and don't like what you have posted. You come off as arrogant and rude. Of course we are Christinas, we believe in the Bible, that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and was resurrected. If someone tries to tell you that you aren't Christian who cares. Why should what they say affect you? You know what we believe so dont worry about it.

Mormonism is actually a false religion, and the DVD i saw about it with the testamonies of mormons, proves that.
You will never be a god. Jesus Christ, created Lucifer, so that means he was not his brother. God (Jesus Christ), created the whole universe by speaking, not by having sex.
Jesus Christ came to earth by the Holy Spirit, not by physical sex with Mary.
The Book of Mormon has no scientific way of proving it, and it has been revised for about 120 years.
John Smith died and was carrying a religious piece, representing Jupiter, God Hates idolatry.
