Could be a sympton of being diabetic...

This could depend on what shoes you wear - if you wear a lot of heeled shoes, or pointy shoes or even shoes that are just a bit tight, it is just to do with your blood circulation. I had exactly the same problem - a tingly pain that made me want to scream! But I stopped wearing bad shoes for about 6 months and occassionally pampered my feet (a soak in hot water is all they can need) and now they are much better! Hope this helps!

If the pain is in your heel and goes away as soon as you walk on it, that could be a heel spur or plantar fasciitis. Wearing cushioned insoles with arch supports may help, or you may need a cortisone shot in the heel once to make it go away.

maybe you go sleep walking outside, then wash them before slipping back beneath the bed covers.

Could be arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, gout, who knows. You should get it checked out.
