You are old enough now!
I went on holiday without my parents when i was 13!
if you would be with grandparents then age doesn't matter!

It sounds like your mum is just being protective of you!
I get that alot still and I'm 21, she keeps trying to persuade me not to go to Turkey in 18 days because of the bombs and she doesn't want me moving into a place of my own!

Don't worry about it! Just have a quiet calm chat with her telling her all the details and explain you will be with grandparents so nothing is going to happen! But try not to get cross with her as she has the final word as you still live under her roof!

Good luck

I think it's wonderful that your grandparents want to take you with them on a trip. Does your parents have an issue with those relatives? It sounds like they may be using you as a pawn.
