I think it's irrelevant today, if you have faith thats all that counts, according to most religions.

answer: Too previous due. because the Jewish Messiah will be human, no longer divine - that lets Jesus out. because the Jewish Messiah will truly accomplish the prophecies - that lets Jesus out. because the Jewish Messiah heavily isn't worshiped - it may't be Jesus. Equating Jesus with Passover in all fairness insulting. Jesus celebrated Passover, he wasn't qualified to BE Passover (human/deity sacrifice is abhorrent to G-d and Jews. - so is worshiping every person or something except G-d). G-d won't be able to change into human. G-d does no longer have offspring. G-d isn't portion of a trinity. information on the excuses Jesus wasn’t the Jewish Messiah: divine start/divinity - strike (the Jewish Messiah will be human – G-d won't be able to change into human – Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 40 4:6, Hosea 11:9, Ezekiel 28:2, Numbers 23:19) appearing miracles - strike (JM received't carry out miracles) taking on the sins of others - strike (no plausible take on the sins of others – Deuteronomy 24:16, Exodus 32:30-35, Ezekiel 18:a million-4; 20-24; 26-27) breaking Sabbath - strike (JM will be observant) sacrificed/increasing from the lifeless - strike (G-d rejects human sacrifice and blood sacrifice isn't an absolute requirement – Deuteronomy 12:30-31, Jeremiah 19:4-6, Psalm 106:37-38, Ezekiel 16:20, Leviticus 5:11-thirteen, Jonah 3:10, Leviticus 17, Leviticus 5:11-thirteen, Numbers 16:40 seven, Numbers 31:50, Isaiah 6:6-7, Jeremiah 7:22-23, Psalm 51:16-17) prophecies unfilled - strike (JM will accomplish them in a unmarried life time) being worshiped - strike and out - Jews worship G-d and in worry-free words G-d

Anyone who ACTUALLY read the Bible would know (unless they are blind as bats) that the Jews did not do the actual killing of Jesus, they were simply the ones who demanded his death.., and even then it was NOT the entire Jewish Nation, just the high priests and those who believed the High Priests.
ROMANS killed Jesus because it was against the law for Jews to put to crucify anyone. It was a matter of Roman Rule.
Most people who still accuse Jews have not read the Bible but rely on the word of others or some weird blatant misinterpretation.
JESUS FORGAVE ALL OF THOSE WHO CRUCIFIED HIM! It said so in the New Testament account. "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do".
The New Testament says if we can not forgive, we can not be forgiven. This too is plain to read. But lazy people, too eager to hate and despise will not read the Bible nor accept it - but ironically they use it to justify their hate..., and the Bible does not justify this hatred.

Many people had a hand in the death of the Lord. That was supposed to happen. God had a plan, implemented the plan, and then keeps working the plan.
Look at all who had a hand in the death, which ultimately brought about the ressurections:
Scribes and Pharisees who plotted. (Jews)
The Sanhedrin and Elders of Israel
Judas and the Zealots (who were brother Jews to Jesus)
Romans who were keeping down riot in their sector.
Sinners who created the need for atonement (US)
This can go on and on. Ultimately, MANKIND is responsible. People who say just the Jews are responsible have another agenda. Those Jews who take offense to their history, have another agenda.

Why do people accuse todays Jews of killing Jesus? Jesus had to die in order to be the sacrifice for our sins. He died so we could be forgiven. People who accuse aren't forgiving. Also, I keep encountering questions on here where people think other people should be accountable or guilty for something someone did hundreds of years ago. Shouldn't we all be accountable for our own actions? And then there's the people who actually do something wrong and it's always someone else's fault and not their own. What has happened to our sense of personal responsibility? And who decided that generations of people should suffer for something someone else did long ago? It's just crazy. And why does it even matter who physically put Jesus on that cross? He died for all of us - we all put Him on there. If Jesus didn't make a way for us to be cleansed and forgiven we'd quite easily send ourselves straight to hell without having to have any help from our ancestors! There is an old song that says it wasn't the people who yelled "crucify Him" and it wasn't the nails that kept Jesus on the cross, it was love.

Jews are considered to be the killers of Jesus because it was Jews who informed the Romans of Jesus' crime of treason. While the Romans were the real executioners of Christ, the Jews killed him by proxy.

Read the New Testament.
No knowledgeable Christian accuses "the Jews" of killing Jesus. All of Jesus' disciples were Jews. There is an episode where a group of some Jews - the majority, if you will - rejected Jesus as their savior. That's all there is in the Bible.
There is no legitimate interpretation of the New Testament which is anti-semitic. Jesus himself was a Jew. Duh!

I know some people don't like it when we quote scripture but....
John 10:17,18 says, and this is JESUS talking.
"Therefore my Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again. NO ONE TAKES IT from me but I lay it down of myself..."
The jews just happened to be there and they wanted to stone Him because they were convinced that He was speaking blasphemy, and so goes history in the making. Thank you Jesus!!!!
No one had or has the power to murder the King of Kings.
So Jews and gentile alike do not get the credit for so called murdering Jesus. He gave His life so that we might live for Him.

Its' not like they rounded up every Jew back then and they took a vote it was only a group of Jews, but past that Jesus definitely gave up his life to save our souls so in effect his death had to be carried out to complete Gods will.Actually every person present and past are the cause of his sacrifice so we all owe Him a great debt that we'll never have to pay.

It is in the scriptures that the Jews killed Jesus. They were given a choice between him and barrabas and you know who they chose. Pilate washed his hands of it once the Jews said,"Let it be on our heads and our children's heads." They held illegal trials at which they admonished Christ and spit on him and ridiculed him. The pharisee's were afraid of the power he was beginning to gain because of the truths he spoke. None of them could argue his logic. Therefore they went through the roman courts to use it to justify their own hatred.
