Jesus was the most intelligent of all of God's spirit children. He told Abraham that where there are two spirits, one will be more intelligent than the other. There will be another more intelligent than they. "I the Lord God am more intelligent than they all". This is in the Book of Abraham found in the Pearl of Great Price. How could Christ go through mortality without blemish but for his great intelligence and ability to follow His Father, our God. Only He could show the way for all the rest of us and effectuate the eternal atoning sacrifice necessary to bring all of us back into His presence on condition of our repentance.
Nothing less would have sufficed.

Here this is for you to read...
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
God Bless you.
