The healthy amount of weight to lose is 1-2lbs/week. Also, please note that if you have been exercising you have probably gained muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, so please keep this in mind.

Crash diets don't tend to work in the long run. You need to change your lifestyle to something you can live with for the rest of your life. If you don't go with this route, chances are you will just gain all of the weight you lost right back.

This is good. "Too good to be true" ads on TV that promise losing 10 pounds in a week can discourage people who are actually being very successful in healthy, normal weight loss. In fact, health experts say that losing 2 pounds per week is the heathiest rate for weight loss that will stay off.

Don't go the route of diet pills. If you are losing weight so successfully already, don't put those stupid chemicals in your body, you might mess up a good thing.

3 and a half pounds per week is great! If you keep it up the weight should continue to come off. You don't need diet pills.

weight comes on slowly you should take it off slowly. If you take it off fast, more than 2 or 3 lbs a week, it will come back and more will come with it so unless you learn new healthier way of life you will gain more each time you diet.

11 pounds is reasonable.

Don't take diet pills, they often have nasty side effects like heart damage and kidney failure.

Just keep working your *** off, and eventually it will work. Also if you work for it you are less likely to relapse the way that people do when they use the pills.

My dietician says that 2-3 lbs per week is good progress anything more than that and you are damaging muscle or losing too fast and risk nutrition problems or gaining it back.

Thats a great start. Losing weight any faster than that can be very unhealthy. Just keep at it, what you are doing is working great.

10 lbs a month is good, so you're on the right track. It will probably taper down for a while soon, so don't let that discourage you. Inches is more accurate than lbs.
