CTA and Metra do not provide toddler seats
I live in Chicago and have taken public transportation all my life
I have never seen any toddler ever in a special seat on the bus or train, I have only seen infants in their baby bucket, and if you have a stroller you must fold it up before you will be allowed on, and public transportation tends to be very crowded certain times of the day, you'll want to hold your child so he doesn't get lost

there is no could desire to offer seatbelts in public transportation for city or short-term rides. the threat of an injury accident is already diminished to vehicle ranges with a seat belt by those aspects: a million. professional vs. newbie driving force. 2. length and risk-free practices of motor vehicle. 3. driving force visibility outbound and motor vehicle visibilty inbound. 4.layout of the interior for performance, no longer convenience.

Nope. And no seatbelts to secure yours if you bring it with you. Not worth the hassle of dragging it around.
