The point of nose hair is trap anything like dust or insects that may try to go up your nose.

no no no , you have all got it wrong. the point of nose hair is to stop you from smoking.ever time you try to light up so does the hair in nose!! and we all nose how sore this is , right kids!!

It stops the dirt you breathe in getting into your lungs, as it gets trapped up your nose instead and then you eliminate it with your snot. Hear there is three miles of hair in there, but wonder who measured it

Nasal hair traps all the dust and nasty things in the air. As we get older, especially men do need to keep this hair trimmed as it increases with age. Please guys - do check in the mirror, seeing a guy with a piece of snot trapped in the follicles is not nice!

It is there to catch some of the dirt and bacteria and stuff that you breathe in so it doesn't get in your system. If it wasn't there you would get a lot more infections and colds and stuff.
