It take sarted to install.But after some time it show some errore report"errore 1308......."can i install ms office in my system?

Go to control panel find add delete programs. Find your windows program in there and click delete it. It will not delete it will show screen that says uninstall or repair. Click repair.
Then after you have repaired it go back try to reinstall your Msn Office. But first may be good idea to shut down firewall if you have one an or any Virus protection you have. After installing put you firewall and Virus protections back on line.
Answer is yes you can install it lol I have the same windows as you do and i got it ok.

You need to boot from the CD / DVD. Go into your BIOS (watch the POST for how to do this, usually delete or an "F" key) Once in your BIOS look for Boot Options. Set CD first and put Hard drive 0 second. Save and exit. Once you boot again the drive should be recognized as having bootable media. "Press any key to boot from CD" or something of the like should display. Hit a key and the installation should start.

Yes you can. Are you using an authentic CD for Office? Is your computer handling Windows XP ok?

try some other copy of ms office. the CD could be corrupted
