What does one have to do to keep a long distance relationship alive for the coming 7-9yrs?

I have been in a long distance relationship for the past year and a half. It is a great relationship, but hurts so bad sometimes, for not seeing each other all the time is hard. If you could deal with that for 7-9 years that's great, but you have to have constant communication and make plans to see each other as often as possible. If not by the time you do get to be together, you might not really know the person anymore. A lot can change in 7 years. Good luck.

it wont happen.....too long to try to keep a LDR alive.......move closer
