My concern is Mad cow. I know that gelatin is made from protien and prion is the protien that causes Mad cow. There is no scientific evidence that you cannot get mad cow 20 yrs from now after eating jello-0 made from animal product (beef that is)

Look for gelatin made with Agar, a vegetable product made from seaweed, is used especially in quick jelly powder mix and Asian jelly deserts, but also as an alternative that is acceptable to vegetarians. Agar is more closely related to pectin and other gelling plant carbohydrates than to gelatin.
Another vegan or vegetarian alternative to gelatin is carageenan.

Look in stores that sell Kosher food.
Kosher gelatin is made from plant products

nope, gelatin is what it is. cant get it from a plant, it's made from ground up bone.
