Don't worry they're no-kill here! But she caught 3 of 5, and the other two are getting smart... any suggestions on how to catch the others? We don't want to leave them alone... mom appears to be missing. They don't show interest in the toys we've offered... and Of course they love the food.... but they just wait for us to fall asleep ( I fell asleep on my porch) and then come right up next to us and snag the food. So to make it clear, Any suggestions on catching the last two?

Can't get the traps. I live in Japan, and the only traps available are owned by the cops. The cops will pick up a full teap, throw it in the back of their van, and take the baby immediately to be killed. They look to be about 6 weeks old.

If you can not get a trap. You could make one. Get a card board box. prop it up with a stick tie a string onto the stick thats holding the box. Put food under the box.Make sure the string is long so you can be far enough away so the kittens will go under the box to eat. then wait when they go under it to eat pull the string the box will fall on top of them and you have caught one ..Then do the same with the next one.Patience it may take some time waiting for them to come and eat. But you should be able to get them this way. Good Luck.

Set up a cage and put food and an old towel inside (for a bed).
Feed them there a couple of days. Pretty soon they will fill their tummies then fall asleep on the bed and you can quietly close the door.

I believe there are things called humane traps. You should be able to get them from somewhere in your town - animal control or something.

You put food in as bait, and when the kittens go in to eat, they won't be able to get back out.

There may be a charge for the traps, and you do have to return them. But they'll do the trick.

Instead of trying to grab them any time they come near you wait a while, maybe days. Keep feeding them and just stay near the food. If you don't make a grab for them every time they come close they might begin to trust you a bit.
Hope it works for you. It did for me but the mom was tame and only the kitten was a bit wild.

You can order the humane traps from this site:

If they will not ship to Japan, do a google search on "humane animal traps"; there are a lot of online companies that sell them and surely one of them will ship internationally.

Good luck!

A small live animal trap is the easiest way. Not too expensive.
