Yea.

Just like "you will burn in hell" is meant to make people scared.

and "Jesus loves you" is meant to make people guillible.

What do you think! All the blood and gore is hashed over and over in churches, even pictures and statues have blood running from his head and side. Not fit for little children to see.
What would mourners at a funeral think if we told and photographed every gory part of the deceased victim in glorious color. Would you feel more guilty than his murderers? Not only that we could make the cruelest bloodiest movie so viewers could go home beat themselves up with guilt.
Jesus martyred himself, he was put to death by his own people and the Romans because that was his plan. He choose to die. Personally, I don't adhere to the guilt bit for anyone.

You say that as if guilt were a bad thing! A healthy sense of guilt, like a physical pain, is a good thing because it points to something wrong that needs our attention. In this case, our continuing desire to engage in sinful behavior.

So, yes: If we have sinned and believe that Jesus died for our sins, it is only fitting that we should feel some guilt about it. OTOH, as others have pointed out, there's more to the story: He did it out of love for us, and His actions saved us from the punishment that we truly deserved. So, along with guilt (in its proper measure, of course), it is appropriate to feel relief, love, gratitude, etc.

No, it is meant to be Good News!
However, if a person does not see that they have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God then it is bad news.
Who cares if Jesus died for my sins if I dont see myself as having sinned?
The Law of God first shows a person that he had sinned and needs forgiveness. When that person sees his/her need for a savior THEN it is Good News.

No it isn't meant for you to feel guilty. It is meant for you to think. He died for our sins. He was giving himself up and taking in all of our sin when he died. It was a self-sacrifice. Kind of like we are to sacrifice and be good people because he did it for us.

I never thought of it that way, I think guilt feelings are good for us, because they make us do the right thing.
( right choices are good for us)
Jesus died for our sins, gives us freedom to be forgiven and to sin no more. To sin no more would mean, we press on to the high calling in life.
It is good to press on, that way, we don't become lazy and self possessed.
I could go on, but I will quit here.:)

NO, no, no.
Jesus died so we can go to Him, in prayer, asking forgiveness for sins we EVER committed, ARE committing now, and sins we will EVER commit

Satan is the one who makes you feel guilty for the same sin that HE MADE YOU COMMIT!
Jesus only convicts you, satan condemns you.

Not guilty but rather redeemed by the sacrifice of His precious blood. The dumpster is not a bad place to look for Jesus, as it implies a certain degree of desperation and searching. I hope you can find answers and direction. Never give up on Him for He gave Himself up for you and all mankind

Yes the same as repeating the litany where you state that you're unworthy but say the word and I'm yours, the whole concept is designed to control peoples faith through fear and yet God is supposed to be a kind and loving father....go figure!
