It's real - it's a chemical imbalance. If you are trying to harm yourself, you need to seek medical treatment. They can find some medications that can regulate your chemical imbalance and get back to feeling like your old self. You can also try to talk to somebody - a professional - they are very good.

You can help yourself by improving your diet and starting to exercise. Your body needs certain chemicals. Also, try to be less self-absorbed. You have social anxiety and you think everybody hates you. You hate yourself and others pick up on that. You are projecting your pain on others. Get real. The world does not owe you anything. You are not a victim and you choose how to behave. Your feelings are your responsibility and no one else's, so quit making it their fault. Help youself by mastering some skills, or developing a talent. Focus on other people and trying to understand their perspective. Yes, that means EMPATHY. By worrying about "you you you" all the time, you make it all about you. Newsflash: It's not all about you. When you start to better yourself, it will make you feel better about yourself. You can also give to other people, like volunteer your time and effort to help the needy and underpriveleged. You will start to see how much you have to give and how much other people need and appreciate you. Don't avoid doing this and think that some magic pill or antidepressant will make you better. It won't. And you wouldn't like the side effects of them, either. Drugs are just a crutch that helps you avoid the real problem. Only YOU can make you better. Sometimes it takes a psychologist to point out to you what negative self-talk and behaviors are hurting you and those around you. They can offer you new ways to look at things, and help you discover some alternative coping skills and healthier behaviors to deal with and manage the pain you are in. You can and will get throught this. You just have to understand it better, and believe that you have all the power you need.

I say these things because I recongnize these symptoms . { I've been there } Then we imagine all sorts of untrue crap. Screaming hollering is actually saying look at me I'm hurting please either go away or help me . Yes DEPRESSION is very real . It is a chemical deficiency in our brains that can be helped with drugs . I suffer and I mean SUFFER from depression myself the meds. take the edge off and I start feeling more like myself . They don't make me feel DRUGED . You need to go see someone , and by all means talk to your husband, he is probably at the very least confused by these actions you are displaying . Depression is very real, but it is controllable!! But it almost sounds like you are using it as a crutch. Blaming everything on the depression, and that your husband only stays because he feels sorry for you. Do you think he might leave if you got your life under control? Think again. He might be happier if you got help, so would everyone else, including you! There are lots of wonderful doctors, physiologists, and antidepressants that can help. You would be surprised how wonderful life can be after you get your life under control. Sp get some help.

depression is Real--lots of people suffer. if you have wanted or are wanting to harm yourself or others you need to seek advice immediately from family Dr. very mild forms do improve with support from family and friends...there seems to be a stigma label involved because some people don't know about depression and are afraid to deal with it. it's not easy, but there is help in talking and sometimes medication helps you get through and help focus on life situations. see pastor or Dr to get going in right direction----HUG
