Oh, the list is long....specifically, I would need to know what kind of pain, where the pain is, and does it radiate. Let me just talk generally:
Gentle stretching is a good way to start...stressing gentle. With knees shoulder width apart, round your shoulders and bend forward, with knees slightly bend. Do not bend until you feel pain...stop before then. Rest there, then slowly roll yourself back up. Do this repeatedly, 4 more times.
Lay on the floor and bed your knees to about a 45 degree angle, feet on floor. With shoulder on the floor, allow legs to drift to the right, keep feet on floor...hold it for 10 seconds, then towards the left.
Repeat 4 more times. Remember, slowly.
Hands and knees on the floor, gently push yourself back to sit on your legs, with knees, feet and hands remaining on the floor. Hold that position for a count of ten. Then gently move forward until your body is straightened out and head and chin facing forward. Hold for a count of ten. Repeat both 4 more times.
Heat is good to help relax your back also. And a good reflexology massge would be excellent.

Depends on what kind or what is causing the pain. I would try Excedrin also laying on your side with you knees bent is helpful. When you sit down get a pillow on your lower back and a chair that is supportive and put your legs on a ottoman or foot stool. The other thing you can do is change your shoes. I am serious, shoes that don't support your posture can throw your back out of kilter. Sometimes the jacuzzi can help and for me sometimes I have to walk it out. Good luck!

I asked that question a few days ago and got several answers. Finally I listened to my brother and went jogging and brisk walking. Back pain is gone. I suggest you do the same
