Where I come from there seem to be only three types of men that women take notice of, as far as looks are concerned. "Normal-looking" guys like me never get noticed, no matter what. I'm no Brad Pitt, but I'm a good looking guy. I dress nicely. I'm hygenic. I don't get why I never get noticed. If I go out, women always pass right by me for one of those three other types of guys.

I am sorry that you feel like you get passed by .. but to me I don't find a person like Brad Pitt appealing?
The first thing I would notice on a person would be his smile .. if he has a geniune smile that can bright up the world. Second would be his personality .. is he sincere, honest, etc.
You will find the right girl and well the girls that don't get to know the person you are inside, just remember its their own loss.

you are not looking at the right type of woman. seriously.
I'm sure, since your a good looking, nicely dressing, hygenic sort, that there are plenty of women lookin your way - but I bet you don't see them. you most likely have an image in your mind of what you want to be with & you tend to pursue women in that mindset. unfortunately, what you want is chasing after the "three types of men" you mentioned & they won't give you the time of day, much less a look-over. I don't mean date train-wrecks or hags, but look around - there's someone out there looking back at you. you just need to see her.

How do you know you were passed by for one of the other types of guys? Did you ask the women that passed you up?
I would say that women will notice you if you go up and speak to them instead of hanging back and waiting for them to speak to you.

the first things girls notice are the smile and the hair. next is the clothes. "i dress nicely." most girls dont really look for the kind of guy at a club who has a nice tux shirt and ironed pants and stuff like that. you need to go crazy. but not too crazy. :) but i bet you'll get teh girl you truly love in no time.

hmmmmm so you're nice looking, dress well and dont smell!!! Are you either too arrogant or too shy when you go out? Many women dont go running after guys - maybe they're waiting for you to approach them - if you're not up to approaching them, why not smile and make eye contact. Alternatively maybe you're just going to the wrong places - maybe try a new bar or something

Good personality counts best, second- dont "get fresh" with women. They maybe pass right by you for other types of guy because maybe they are more masculine than you. Good luck!

You need to get more confidence. Every guy I've ever liked, I was convinced they were so good looking solely because they believed they were.
Watch the men who get the girls. Learn how to act, stand, talk like them. And then you'll get all the women.

Looks first then personality. If a guy is really hot but no personality then to me all teh sudden he is not so hot. But if he is ugly and has a great personality then all the sudden he is hot.
