First think if you want to possibly lose the friendship . Getting involved with her will change your relationship with your friend as well , so think before you do anything,
If you think she is the one for you then go for it, if it may just be a passing thing then be sure you could do without his friendship as well cause if you two break up .He will have to side with his sister

i think the best way is to talk to
your friend first and tell him how
you feel that way its out in the open
and you gave your friend the respect
that he deserves then you can move
on to ask her out without feeling bad
cause you did the right thing first
