He's probably embarrassed and doens't know what to say.
I think you've probably blown your chances there to be honest.

You say you are "casually seeing a guy" and I imagine he is probably "casually seeing a girl". I don't see the "using" possibility? Don't get it. It would NOT be any different if during the "casual seeing" you had actually "slept together". There is no real commitment so far on either side except perhaps your "drunk" text. Perhaps you should be a bit clearer about what you want.

It doesn't prove anything. All it means is that he probably new you were drunk and didn't want to be talking to you about something serious while you were like that. Or maybe he's not sure and just wants to see how things go. Or maybe he really is just after one thing. The point is you should relax and just enjoy your time with him and don't do anything with him you're not comfortable with. In other words stop being a girl and over analysing everything, sheeeesh!

I don't think so...after all you haven't slept together. He was probably just shocked, and maybe he didn't think that the best way to have that discussion was by text.
I did the same thing with my b/f. The next day we were going out and I apologised to him face to face and put it down to the drink!
We've been together for 6 yrs now and have a wee boy.
Try not to be too "lovey dovey" with him or else he may see you as too clingy. Be cool and get to know each other slowly. Good Luck!

You probably know better than anyone else what his intentions were, after all you know him best and have been in contact with him more than any of us, so ask yourself.
In my opinion it sounds like he was just after the 'one thing'. Thing is it's always that type of person (player) who manages to have that ''special something'' that we all get instantly attracted to and find it hard to let go! Even if it's only after a few dates...
Hold your chin high and delete the number off your phone. You're best just writing that one off. Stay happy and find someone who's not going to play the silent game when you start showing interest and expressing feelings.
Good luck.
Top tips:
*Anyone who's going to drink, warn a friend that you're likely to text a crush, so they don't let you! The following day you'll nearly always regret it!
*Delete all your call register and inbox messages before you go out, so the following day you can see exactly who you've called and text through your drunken night!
All's fair in love, war and car parking!!

he cant use you for sex if you arent having sex with him sweetie. lets get real here.
and dont text people how you feel. thats a cop out. why do people feel the need to fight through text messages?
if he was just looking for sex he would be sleeping with a different girl every night. which, lets be honest , he might be doing.
stop pushing him and telling him you like because he already knows that. let it takes its course and if you dont want to sleep with him, then dont. but dont expect a guy that youre "casually" dating, which must mean very casual if you havent slept together yet, dont expect him to get on his knees and gush over you if you arent even serious yet.

Well it depends maybe he didnt get the text? its happened before. You need to come out and just ask him if he likes you and if there is any room for us in the picture. Life is to short to waste time trying to deside if the guy likes you or not, just ask him and if he doesnt tahts ok, because there are plenty of guys out there.

It Doesn't sound good however you are in the situation not us. He may be a poes or he may be OK and had a flat battery and didn't get your text. What do you feel, if you feel it's bad it probably is and you should trust your instinct.

He probably figured you were drunk and wants to wait to talk to you face to face. Then again, maybe your woman's intuition is kicking in. Either way, _how are we supposed to know???_
You wanna prove he's not just using you, make him wait. 6 months.

Gotta agree with Wafflebox...it's like drinking and driving...just dont ever do it..you know you'll regret it in the morning.. Anyway, if he knew he really wanted you he'd let you know it. Dont be anyone's doormat. Take care.
