Most aren't different from each other except for the patterns on them, but some still do put extra padding in the proper places depending on for a girl or boy. For a boy it's in front and for a girl it's between the legs and toward the back.

The diapers are the same for boys and girls, but pull ups at least huggies brand has more padding in the front for boys and girls have the more padding in the bottom. Believe me it make s a difference, because I sent my husband one time to get pullups and he got the boy kind and then when my daughter peed in it it ran out the botom.

Early stage diapers are about the same. It's when they get into bigger stages that the location of the absorbant padding changes due to where boys and girls usually wet the most respectively.

Yes, what everyone else says is right about the location of the most absorbency, but personally, I've found that just cheap, generic, unisex diapers and pullups work just fine (I've got a boy).

Most likely areas of extra padding. Girls need extra padding lower than boys due to the nature of differences in genitalia.

Boys wet the front, girls wet the back or bottom, so the thick padding is located differently for boys than for girls

They're supposed 2 b more absorpent in the front 4 boys & more absorpent in between the legs 4 girls. However the whole thing is absorpent to some extent.

Boys have the extra padding in the front, and girls the extra padding is in the crotch

boys pee up and girls pee down. The padding is in different places. Plus the pink v. blue!
