The sense of smell.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.
All this talk about sin sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

There are quite a few people here that would have you not believe in anything. I hope that you are smarter than to let them get to you. As for you nonbelievers out there who seem to love to say there is no God....well we will see wont we. As for Satan i don't believe he works through the senses at all. He dwells in your fear and indecision. Satan dwells in your emotions. Try this test-close your mind to all emotion, don't let yourself feel anything but pure logic. Now if you have done this correctly you will feel the need for nothing, you will fear nothing. I know what your going to say "If i have no emotions how can i live and love. A person can still care about his fellow man without feeling all the burden of emotions. Think of this. When you feel sad about something that happens doesn't that fear turn to anger and then hate sometimes. Well congratulations because the devil uses these emotions to get inside you were he twists your concern or sadness into a tool which he can use without your even realizing it! Your senses are just what they are senses. When you deprive yourself of the over active emotional baggage you will feel calm and more clear headed able to see the truth behind the lies. To all you non believes...Shame on YOU!

hmmm... The 5 senses as we are saying are: a million. The experience of Sight 2. The experience of Sound 3. The experience of scent 4. The experience of contact 5. The experience of style a number of those senses are percieved and processed through our ideas it really is one yet which is likewise above those because it itself doesnt experience any of those. It translates them for us. we can and do journey a number of those 5 senses in our daily lives yet at the on the spot are not 'conscious' of it. to achieve that 'information is what keeps the yogis, the meditationer, the bhakta, the seeker, anybody in pursuit. as an get mutually even as having a sizzler it really is our ears that % the experience of Sound it makes, the eyes See the proper format, the nostril Smells the aroma growing from it, the hands (or the hands through the fork) experience the feel of it, and ultimately the tongue Tastes it, thereby all 5 senses are in contact contained in the mind-set of gaining the pride of eating it. even as eating a number of those 5 senses artwork in tandem to grant you that outworldly journey of pride. To 'realize' this and to 'consciously journey' all the 5 experience right now is an workout in itself and calls for good deal of staying power, self-discipline, and staying power. even with the undeniable fact that it can be felt and recognized in our daily lives too. My own journey close to to it befell even as on the most suitable day of the ganapati competition some yers back i became purely chatting with Ganesha after appearing the visarjan pooja and the bhog. it really is then I lost experience of my surroundings and could sense the tender cushions decrease than me, could sense the heady heady scent of plant existence and could style the bhog and tell which merchandise has lesser salt and teh style of raisins contained in the kheer, also i cud experience a deep experience of pride of satiating my starvation. alongside with it i could experience the love, the feeling of going away, the information of someone being there continuously and quite happiness like i have in no way felt formerly. And when I opened my eyes i could distincly see the Idol b4 me smiling a satisfied smile. in a while even as i realized that i became sitting on a not ordinary wodden floor, had not eaten something in view that early morning, did I understand what befell. and became in daze the entire day. I advise as i type this I have the hair on me all status purely questioning about that journey. This for me became as close an journey of all the senses mutually and as divine experienced ever. thanks

Mythical beings don't do anything. But the Hellenic Jews like Paul, who thought of the material world as corruption would doubtless say sight, and illustrate that with King David and Bathsheba. But all episodes of lust-driven trouble illustrated in the scripture always began with a man seeing a woman.

I'm going to say sight. With porn being a billion dollar enterprise and growing, and with strip bars popping up all over the world, not to mention music videos and regular television that blatantly promotes sex, the lustful eye is, by far, Satan's most powerful medium to attack our weaknesses.

mouthbreather77,
It's not going to work into your little five senses thing only because the thing that he attacks the most is the mind. He tries to mess with the mind.

For each person that is different. He knows our weaknesses and that is where he works through the most. He will get in our thoughts and work there first.
