i think i would want to know why i was being rejected. but don't make too big a deal of it. sometimes people are attracted to one another at first, but when you get together you find out that you really have nothing in common. just move on to better things.

This should have come up at the time when he was breaking up with you. At this point, if its days or weeks afterwards, there is no point in bringing it back up. Move on to bigger and better things.

I say leave it alone. If he was sorry enough to break up and not tell you a reason then he never really respected you from the beginning.

absolutely - but don't come across as desperate & needy - you just want to know what went wrong - don't beg him to get back together - be calm and cool - just thank him for his honesty and wish him luck in the future - i did that and he came running back to me a week later - but i said, sorry let' s just be friends - it's great being the one in control!
