Years ago my wife and I bought through Black's. Good prices and good service. We bought Thomasville and the quality stunk. Black's picked up the defects (they should have never left Thomasville they were so bad) and took care of the repairs.

This may not be the answer you are looking for but, North Carolina is the new furniture capital of the US. The majority of the factories are there. If I were moving there, I'd rent a U-Haul & spend a weekend hitting the manufacturers, saving a fortune in shipping fees.I really like Mitchell Gold's stuff.

I used to work for La-Z-Boy and most of the major furniture companies have factories in NC. You can go to the various showrooms and actually see what they have and decide on it sight seen rather than run the risk of getting something you hate. You'll also save on shipping. You'll probably have more choice by going to the showrooms than you would shopping online.

I live in NC but I don't shop on line. The best place to find furniture of any kind is in Highpoint, NC. It is where a lot of furniture manufacturers and showcases are located.

The lady that said Highpoint, NC is right. 2 of my dad's friends go there because the prices rock and it's good quality (they drive 10 hours to go there)
