I believe in God and have excepted Jesus into my life. To many things have happened in my life for me to ignore his workings with me. I still have nagging questions though that need answer or the best that anyone can do here on earth. My biggest concern is that if God is perfect and without sin then how could he create something like the devil. The saying goes you cant get an apple from a orange tree. How could he create something as flawed as Lucifer not metion all the angels who followed him unless he did this on purpose? But how could he do it on purpose when he knows no evil(sin). As far as i am concerned everything that comes from God should be perfect. Lucifer was said to be prideful but how could that be unless God put this pride within him to start with. But that would mean that God Is Flawed as well. Any thoughts?

There is only one God. He has no partner. His is dominion and his is praise, and He is capable of all things. Glory is to Allah, the Exalted, the Mighty and the most honourable beyond human comprehension.
God is perfect that is why He gave all his creation free will. He created good and evil and informed His creations that He reward goodness and punish evil and also gave man the freedom of choice. I dont see where your confusion is coming from this is self explationatory. Why choose Lucifer as your tool of understanding God? when God has blessed us with so many things to reflect upon, like the creation of man from sperm drop, germination of seeds, the sky without support, our diversity, our languages(He understands all) the rivers, the earth, the mountains, the animals, the list goes on and on,...........if theres was no pain, joy wouldnt have been this pleasurable. God is beyond your comprehension and He is devoid of any flaws.

I'm not a Christian, but I'm familiar with the theology/philosophy, so here goes. Let's straighten out some facts first. The word Lucifer (morning star) is only used once in the New Testament, and it's referrence by Jesus to himself (Rev 22:26). And the story about angels following Satan is not Biblical, it's from Milton's "Paradise Lost".

Now, as to your question. No Christian theology from any sect holds that Satan is an absolute evil. Because everything that is of God is considerd by definition "good", evil is lierally failure to harmonize with cration due to non-existence of some good quality. It's like darkness, which is not real in itself, but merely the absence of light. St. Augustine likened evi to injury. If you have a cut on your arm, the cut has no reality of its own, it is literally where part of the arm is missing. If your arm were completely (absolutely) injured, it would be destroyed. Absolute evil would be absolute non-existence. Satan has a role to play in God's plan. He is the obstacle (a literal translation of the Hebrew "Shatan") that tests the beiever so that they may see how far they have come in knowing God (read the book of Job). This is why the Pope had a member of his court to test the churches who was called the "devil's advocate".

The theology is that Lucifer was one of God's angels, but led an unsuccessful rebellion, was cast from Heaven, and ultimately will be destroyed in end times. This is summarized in Isaiah. (Sorry, I don't have exact cite.)

Perhaps the best explanation is to look at mankind. Mankind was created in God's image and given a free will. That free will nature is of God, and is good. However, unlike God who is sinless and perfect because He chooses to be, mankind deliberately chooses to sin. That is, the choice ability is of God--the choice made is due to man. Likely the same holds for the rebellious angels. BTW, the Bible also states that Lucifer (devil) and all other angels remain subject to God's authority.

When God first created angels, they were perfect as was mankind. Lucifer was possibly the most beautiful angel that God had created and some suggest that he was even the worship leader of Heaven. Anyway, God also created these beings(as well as human beings) with a free will. God allows them as well as us the power of choice. He could have created robots and programmed them to love Him, but that would not be love at all. Love is not love when love is forced, only when love is chosen.

(forgive me if what i say today sounds confusing or if how i say it sounds juvenile. i'm not all here today...lack of sleep)

1) when God created Lucifer, Lucifer was the highest angel in heaven, the most beautiful, he shined the brightest etc... Lucifer sinned...he became jealous of God's power and hated God, everything God loved, everything he made. God didn't make Lucifer evil, he did it himself.

2) no one ever said God doesn't KNOW evil. God is good, yes, but that does not mean he cannot understand evil or what it is. that's putting limitations on God and that isn't correct. God's relationship with evil and with the devil isn't understood by man. how could it be? the book of Job suggests that they have a talking relationship. i very much doubt the relationship contains any respect on either's part. i do believe, however that they are (obviously) not on equal standing and satan very much cowers in the presence of God....as all of creation bows to his will. i always thought that was somewhat humorous...how satan is constantly trying to get people to doubt the existence of the Lord when he VERY much believes in his existence himself. God is not flawed. to say he is flawed would be to pass judgment on the judge. you can't hold someone to rules when they make them.

God is a God of choices. Even the angels have the choice to follow God the only difference between the angels and us is one slip up for them results in total denial by God. The angels were created in service to God. We were created to be a companion to God. But all were given the chance to make a choice and Lucifer and the other angels made their choice knowing that it was a choice that would cast them out of the presence of God.

You won't find this in the Bible, but some say that before God created the earth he created angels, spirits, etc., all of which had free will as well. God's right hand man, the one soon to be called satan, decided to take his free will and move on away from God, and several angels followed him (only to become demons). God cast him out, etc. Then God created the perfect world, and satan decided to have some fun with God's perfect creation, thus taking the image of the serpent in the garden. So, God did create satan, but Satan used his free will to separate himself from God. I wonder if he ever regrets that decision...

Hope that helps!

God created Satan as a being with free will. Satan began as a good angel, but over time decided to rebel against God. God could not create a being as perfect as He, because then we would be creating another God. Instead, the beings he did create were subject to corruption (sin), and one of them finally broke down.

Well, in my religion we believe that god gave everyone a conscience to do what they felt necessary to and it went the same way with angels and devils. Thus they could have things like pride, arrogance, love, and compassion. When god created Adam he told all the angels and devils to bow to him, and the devil was prideful and refused.

God created the devil as an angel he was the most beautiful, music came from him. He fell from heaven because he wants to be God, and he wants to be worshiped. God is perfect.
