Depends, How long ya stayin? the more.. uh... "long term" stayers have about a 9 by 9 feet cell, the ones that stay less than 5 years only have a 6 by 9.

Why? Are you planning on just visiting or making a more permanent stay??!!
I would think that as here [Ocker - Aussie], they would vary somewhat from prison to prison and even within different parts and sections of the same prison, and how many were in a cell!

about eight by ten feet. most of them have two twin size beds and two small lockers.

I have always heard 9' by 9' or 2.73 meters by 2.73 meters.
