Pleasurable in certain circumstances, but otherwise, I don't go looking for it and try to avoid it most of the time...

maybe number 3....not sure. to me pain is a barrier that could stand between me and getting something i want. for example, i really wanted a tattoo, but i was afraid of the pain. i broke through that mental barrier and now have 5 tattoos and a nipple piercing.
