My female cat Tammy has been sleeping with me for years. Since I've suffered a recent romantic breakup, I've noticed that she is more attentive and has started to be seductive. I'm wondering if she wants more than a platonic relationship with me? I hesitate to make the first move, since I can't stand more rejection. Do you think she is interested in me in this way?

Please don't pay any attention to any of the Fey Believers you may encounter on here. These are people who are obviously suffering from repressed anti-feline feelings. Maybe this new relationship of yours will be just what they need for enlightenment and understanding. And you talk about making a first move when you and Tammy have been sharing a bed for years? Boy, men can be dense at times. Tammy obviously loves you and is ready to take the relationship to the next level. You should respect the fact that she waited until you were free before making her move. I say yes, go for it. On your way home tonight stop and buy her a smoked salmon and some fresh, chilled milk for dinner. Hey, if you're feeling Frisky, pick up a bouquet of catnip too! By setting the proper mood and doing a lot of "petting" before hand, I think that the both of you will be in for a night to remember!

in case you will discover an grownup cat that has lived with canine until now and is conscious a thank you to get alongside with them, that would desire to be your suitable guess. Som cats are large at getting alongside with canine and a few basically are not. by using the time a cat is an grownup, you would be wanting so lots extra useful thought of what you're entering into. seek for a cat it somewhat is mellow, elementary-going, and perplexing to startle. A skittish cat is so lots extra possibly to run faraway from the canine, that's what contraptions off their prey instinct and gets a chase going. as quickly as a chase starts, the top is lots extra possibly to be tragic. If the cat on no account runs, the canine not often have lots extra pastime previous interest. Mine regularly basically sniff my cat and lick him a pair of situations. He provides them a disgusted look, yet it somewhat is the top of it. :) i do no longer think of it will make a lick of distinction in spite of if the cat is male or lady, basically in spite of if it has the character to difficult it out with those canine or no longer. as quickly as you agree on on a cat, make the introductions slow and intensely supervised. destroy it up if any of the pets get too excited. try making introductions whilst certainly each and every physique is calm, ideally drained, no longer hungry, and not the minute you walk interior the door. sturdy luck!

well she might be, maybe she's seen you at your worst and decided you're worth it. question is, are you up for the commitment? sure cats only live 10-15 years on the average, but can you give her the attention she needs? you know, if you have roaming eyes and she senses another women, there will be jealous and repercussions.

i say, weigh all the ins and out of the situation, then you two work it out. good luck.

btw, cats always get their way.

Tammy knows that you are feeling way way low down and she is trying to comfort you and tell you that no matter what - she's there for you: 'why yo need nother human fo - silly? looka me!' But its great that you still have your sense of humor despite the break-up.
Seriously, I once had a male neutered cat that thought of himself as my mate.. he used to attack any man that came calling... He (the cat) also slept in my bed.

The cat is most likely happy that she's the centre of attention now. Maybe she never liked your girlfriend in the first place.

Shake that funny thought out of your head, it's only normal cat behavior

That is really funny, man! Take it slow and let the cat make the first move. You don't want to be rejected when she has claws and teeth like she does!

Most people on here don't have the sense of humor for a question like this. I thought it was funny though.

Pu$$y is pu$$y. But if she rejects you, it will most likely be with her claws. It might be safer for you to get an inflatable love cat.
