Now opposites do attract, but that doesn't mean they will live a wonderful passionate love affair forever b/c they simply attracted to each other. The line is true but not entirly one must repeat it a few times to realize that being attracted to one another will never give both of you pleasure for the rest of your lives since beauty fades!!! Now if your not sucha party animal don't find you one, that illogical. Theres bound to a be a wonderful women that has similar interests to you and that is the life of a part if she goes ot one but is not necessarily the kind to be at parties all the time... Good Luck and God Bless

Opposite don't attract in many cases and you will see before the relationship is through.
If your not a party animal, why would you date a party animal when you will start expecting the party animal to be home with you instead of out partying.
Why would you date a drinker if you don't like to drink yourself.
In order to have a good start to a relationship you have to be COMPATIBLE.
You have to start out sailing on the same ship so your ideals don't clash and cause constant arguing in your relationship.
Again, if I like to stay home and my mate like to go out what type of time will we be spending with each other which will eventually start conflict leading to the deterioration of the relationship.
If you find a girl with similar passions, I say stay with such person because they have what you want and need for a successful dating.

I have found that opposites definitely do attract. I spent so much time trying to find someone with similar tastes and opinions that I almost missed him.
As Dr. Phill puts it, "if you keep on doing the same thing, you are going to keep on getting the same results." You need to get involved in a new hobby or sport. Something that will let you meet people with other interests.

i say we replace the word opposite with compatible... then yes, find someone compatible. i mean, if the 2 of u are complete opposite, it cant work, coz one is partying the other is sleeping, 1 is watching a movie the other one is site seeing or something. it only works when it come to physics, opposites attract, u know, like magnets, not humans.

I think the ideal of opposites attracted isn't totally true. A lot of times the differences between couple will compliment each other, but you have to have some common grounds to get along also.

You should date a girl with similar interests. My husband never likes to go out and I love going out. We've been married for 2 years and we fight about everything under the sun because we have nothing in common. We are on the verge of a divorce. So, date someone you like with similar interests or you will be sorry.

I think you're taking advice a little to literally.
Opposites are more likely to attract but sometimes the same attract too.

There would be not a hope in hell of me ever finding a man to be in the least bit sexually attractive if we had so little in common that he could not stir the custard in my head to keep it from boiling over, regardless of me also finding him physically attractive.
You will never find another person on this planet who is so similar to you that you recognize yourself when you look into their eyes...

Thats a myth. In psychology you learn that there are 2 MAIN reasons 2 people get involved. 1. Proximity to eachother ie: they work together, live in the same town.... 2. Commonality. Things they have in common. So look for someone close in proximity and has stuff in common with you. Good luck
