No. I think the idea of God is redundant and simply detracts from the more important debates of this world.
Unfortunately, most of the world doesn't agree so we have to defeat this idea first before we can move on to something more productive.

You should follow the one and only God. Just because you think others already named this God doesn't make it uncool or you are a 'follower'. There is only one God. Read the bible, find the truth of that one God and follow him.

Life is not about following God, it's about making this world a better place for our children. Reality is here on Earth, not in the clouds. People are being killed left and right every second of the day, for no reason. Innocent people are victims of war and politics. It's quite sad because it could all end if we showed tolerance and respect for one another rather than killing each other in the name of our God.

What "own" God are you talking about? We don't have our own gods, we have only one true God- God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
